2. Summary

When homeowners feel their house in not any more a home, the show Love it or List it helps them to make a decision if stay it or put in on list after a remodeling. This is an episode of one hour duration where David a real estate agent and the designer Hillary compete for the final decision of the owners to stay or go. David gives to the couple a list of the possible homes that they could buy, but Hillary is determined to show homeowners that, within their budget, she can transform their worn-out house into a castle they can love. If the couple decides that they will list their house, the hard work will be for Hillary, because she will have to resell the house to new buyers. In this episode a young couple with two children decided to enter the show. The wife is complaining about how close are the bedrooms from each other and very close to the kitchen. Her husband accuses her to throw stuff to the trash from their house because the house is too small. The younger kid is next to their bedroom and the older one just below them so the noises are a problem to both sides. That's why the couple are looking for a different place specially for their old son. The parents start looking for differents houses. In the first house, they like the the size of the basement, could be perfect for the old son. While they are looking other houses, Hillary (designer) is dedicated to remodeling their house. The couple makes an unexpected visit to their house and they have a big surprise to see the changes, but Hillary defends what she is doing. After 3 weeks renovation, the couple arrives to their home to see all the changes that have happened. Finally Shery and David (married couple) decided list their house and look for a bigger one with much room for all of them.

3. My opinion.

In my opinion, it's fun to see changes in older homes to new ones. View as owners got excited and frustrated to see that the costs are higher than they thought. I also like to see different designs of houses now that I am remodeling mine and maybe take good ideas. Personally I am not agree with the prices they give to renovate a house. Are too low for all changes and renovations they do. I think they deceive the viewer a bit because if I want to do a remodeling I will think it's not expensive, but when I'm doing it I see is much more expensive. I assure it because with my fiance we bought a house and we are doing renovations. The house is looking very nice but the costs are very high.

  1. Very nice response. I agree-- those types of reality shows always make it look easier/faster/cheaper than it really is!

    Nice work!

grammar correction: I am not agree--> should be "I do not agree"
